Insecure Season Two Cast "Where Are They Now?"

With each episode of the final season of Insecure dropping we know we are closer and closer to the end of an era. Which is bittersweet but also makes us reminisce on what Issa Rae and the cast and crew have left us with. That's why we went back to season two of the series to see what some of our favorite actors are up to now. See the list below and let us know who some of your favorite characters are from season two.

Lil Rel Howrey - Quentin

The biggest star to come from season two of Insecure is probably comedian, actor, writer, and producer Lil Rel Howery. Even though he played a small role in season two as a co-worker to Molly, Howery's character did play a pivotal part in helping Molly shift from her old law firm that did not appreciate her to a Black law firm that's allowed her to feel more confident as a lawyer. Since leaving Insecure Howery secured his own television show, Rel, and is now starring in box office productions and breaking streaming records with movies like Vacation Friends, Free Guy,Space Jame: A New Legacy and more!

Jasmine Kaur - Aparna

This character was definitely unexpected for the fans and Laurence as he continued his healing after his breakup with Issa. Laurence started dating his co-worker from his tech job, Aparna, and even crashed Derek's birthday party with her on his arm. Since Insecure Jasmine has been pretty low-key but she has appeared in a few television series and short films like Ahamed's Ramadan Diary, Bunnicula, Doom Patrol, and Orbit.

Catherine Curtin - Joanne

Catherine Curtin known in Insecure as Joanne and Issa's philanthropic and "color blind" boss that started the We Got Y'all non-profit is booked and busy. The actress started her acting career in the 1950s and has been going strong since the late 90s. Since staring in Insecure Curtin appeared in Orange Is The New Black, Stranger Things, Bad Education, Amsterdam Ave, The Blackist, and Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens.

Gabrielle Dennis - Candace

Actress and trained dancer, Gabrielle Dennis, played the wife of Dro where we mostly see her in season two but she also pops back up in season three at Tiffany's baby shower. Dennis already had a heavy acting resume before appearing on Insecure having appeared on television since 1990. Now Dennis is a leading lady staring in television shows like HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show, as well as Netflix's The Upshaws, and CBS S.W.A.T.

Sarunas J. Jackson - Alejandro 'Dro' Peña

One of the steamiest characters from season two was most definitely Dro, Molly's long time neighbor and friend turned friend with benefits. And let's not forget Dro was married and in an open relationship! Sarunas moved on to more leading roles with BET's Games People Play acting alongside Lauren London. Most recently Jackson's stared in Good Trouble, Our Kind of People, and Made To Love, with a few more series expected in 2022.
