On Tuesday, August 20th The Reel Effect hosted its FIRST Reel Vibes event! A series created to entertain and bring together Reel Lovers and Reel Creators to help support independent projects by people of color.

This month we put together a season finale watch party for FX's Pose at Katra Lounge. Not only did we have a great venue but we also had an even better turnout! Plus the cherry on top was the premiere of the Hotline series trailer. Hotline, is a web series about a transgender lawyer that becomes a murder suspect after her sister is killed.

The Reel Effect brought together fans of Pose to not only have a great time and vibe out but also to introduce them to new content, created by people of color!
