How long have you been working in this position or field?

What is one thing you wish the media industry was better at doing?

Speaking the transparent truth. People need to hear the truth good or bad. Perpetuating lies is detrimental to the human race.

How has the scope of media changed from the beginning of your career to now and how have you adjusted/pivoted?

A lot of shows have pivoted back to in-studio while I've stayed virtual. Staying virtual allows me to reach a broader selection of guests.

What has been the worst piece of career advice you have received throughout your career?

To follow the trends and current topics. I keep it organic and natural. I never force conversation. You get more out of people that way.

Is there an incident that you would like to share to warn or educate someone else in this industry?

Just trust your gut. Do what feels right. If it doesn't feel right it's not for you. Run your own race and enjoy the beauty in the process. Be efficient and patient at the same time.

How would you describe your journey in the media industry so far?

My journey has been very enlightening to say the least. I get to meet and communicate with all of the great guests that I have encountered. It has helped me develop as a communicator and a people person.

What has been your biggest lesson of your career thus far?

It helped me realize my purpose.

How has your perspective changed from the beginning of your career until now?

I initially started my show with the intent to shine the light on others, and somewhere along the way I discovered that my purpose was to educated by providing transparent information through interviewing.

What do you wish you knew at the beginning of your career?

Nothing. I love the journey and the learning process.

What is one piece of advice you have for recent graduates, current students, or newcomers to the industry?

You don't have to have it all figured out to start. Grow as you go and stay consistent. Doing and being resourceful is the best teacher.

What advice has helped you the most on your journey?

Stay consistent and water your own grass. Don't look over the fence at someone else's grass comparing its growth against yours.

What is one thing you would like to thank the media industry for? (For example: thank you for giving me the opportunity to connect with a group of like-minded creators.)

I want to thank the industry for allowing me the platform to positively impact others who needed to hear my message at the exact time they heard it. I don't believe in coincidences. God's timing.
