Have you been missing Omari Hardwick like we have since Starz Power ended? Well the wait is over because Hardwick is the lead in this spellbound horror movie staring Loretta Devine, Andre Jacobs, and Lorraine Burroughs. Produced by Morris Chesnut, Spell follows a family as they fly to rural Appalachia for Marquis (Hardwick) fathers funeral. An intense storm causes Marquis to lose control of the plane carrying himself and his family.

He awakens in the home of a hoodoo priestess, Eloise, where he is wounded, alone and trapped in her attic. Eloise claims she can nurse him back to health with a hoodoo figure she has made from his blood and skin. Instead Marquis is bound under her spell and control, he desperately tries to break free from her dark magic and save his family from a sinister ritual before the rise of the blood moon.
